I work from found and created photographs and I loved this image due to the beautiful way that my female model was captured in the light. The girl's flowing dress and the reflections above take the eye on a journey from uplifted face up through the painting. The light highlighting the face and the dress contrasted against the dark blue watery background captures the softness of the water and this peaceful light filled space. A wonderful reflection of feminine allure and strength. My combined techniques of expressionistic backgrounds and pop art foregrounds lend themselves well to this underwater environment. 

In this painting I've used high quality artist acrylics and mediums. As with most of my paintings I personally mount it on an "inbuilt" frame and then paint the painting as the frame and board as one unit. Feel free to discuss the framing with your preferred framer to ascertain their recommendations on the piece. I will place a wire on this piece before shipping, however I recommend hanging it directly from the two D rings that I supply on the back of the painting. I recommend hanging the painting directly to the wall, not from a single wire.
